EXCHANGE, REFUND, & RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE PURCHASES
EXCHANGE POLICY: To ensure your 100% satisfaction, all products are eligible for exchange. Gift cards containing Premier
Optical credit are typically received at your mailing address within 2 weeks. The available credit issued for an exchange shall be
100% credit within the first 2 months of the date of purchase and this amount shall decrease by 10% for each consecutive month up
to 12 months. After one year, products are not eligible for exchange/issue credit. All issued credit is based on Premier Optical's
retail value of your initial purchase at the time of purchase. Retail value includes all combined money paid by the customer and the
money paid by the insurance company on behalf of the customer. Money saved from coupons, specials, sales and discount insurance
plans that were applied during the initial purchase will not be included in the applied credit but may be reapplied and reused by the
customer in subsequent future purchases when applicable. Premier Optical will not provide any one customer with more than one
remake or one exchange in a one year period under any circumstances.
In order to be eligible for an exchange/issued credit, the exchanged product(s) must include all the components that were originally
shipped to you. This often includes, but is not limited to: optical frames, demo or prescription lenses for the frame, cleaning clothes,
cleaning solution, and provided cases. All the items associated with your purchase must be in the same condition in which they were
shipped to you and free of any signs of wear. This also includes the frame hardware (screws, nuts and bolts, temples, nose pads, and
eye wire) being free of any signs of adjustment, misalignment, surface blemishes or defects. The demo or prescription lenses
must still be located within the frame and free of any markings or defects. Exchange orders that are returned without all the associated
originally shipped items (demo lenses, prescription lenses, cases, cleaning clothes, cleaning solution, ect) and orders that have marked,
missing, or scratched demo lenses will have the issued exchange credit reduced by an additional 5% restocking fee.
REFUND POLICY: A 100% refund can be provided in exchange for all purchased items (frames and lenses) up to 2 months from
the date of purchase. Money paid on behalf of insurance company is not refunded. Any insurance benefits will be reinstated in full
and available for future eyewear purchases at any new provider. Be Aware: Should you elect to receive a 100% refund, it is the
official policy that Premier will not sell you additional optical products again for 3 years. This is done for 2 reasons: (1) to cut
down on fraudulent claims and (2) to allow us to continue to sell our premium lenses and frames at our discounted prices.
In order to be eligible for a refund, the returned product(s) must include all the components that were originally shipped to you. This
often includes, but is not limited to: optical frames, demo or prescription lenses for the frame, cleaning clothes, cleaning solution, and
provided cases. All the items associated with your purchase must be in the same condition in which they were shipped to you and free
of any signs of wear. This also includes the frame hardware (screws, nuts and bolts, temples, nose pads, and eye wire) being free of
any signs of adjustment, misalignment, surface blemishes or defects. The demo or prescription lenses must still be located within the
frame and free of any markings or defects. Refunded orders that are returned without all the associated originally shipped items (demo
lenses, prescription lenses, cases, cleaning clothes, cleaning solution, ect) and orders that have marked, missing, or scratched demo
lenses will have the refunded amount reduced by an additional 5% restocking fee (your refund will be 95% of the original purchase).
RX CHANGE/DR ERROR: If a prescription change is issued by a physician indicating a new glasses power is necessary within
60 days of the date of purchase, new lenses will be remade at no additional cost. Due to the high overhead expense in lens manufacturing,
Premier Optical will perform a lens exchange only once; any additional requests will be denied even if accompanied by a
new physician's Rx. In such cases where the lenses have already been remade once, the patient may elect to return all purchased
products to Premier Optical for a full refund.
MANUFACTURER'S FRAME WARRANTY: All frames carry the original manufacturer's 1 year warranty from the date of
purchase. Frame warranty defects cover an improperly manufactured frame that results in the cosmetic breakdown of a frame's
color coating(s) or in the structural integrity of the hinge design, hinge movement or breakdown of the frame's welding points.
Should a manufacturer's defect occur within 12 months of the date of purchase, the frame will be repaired. If the frame is not repairable,
a new duplicate frame will be supplied at no charge, and the original lenses will be placed in this new frame. If the frame
cannot be repaired or replaced, a frame credit equivalent in value to the original frame will be offered to the patient, and new lenses
will be provided at no charge. Defect NOT covered under warranty include, but are not limited to: (1) A general decline in appearance
due to repeated wear. Eyeglass and sunglass frames are delicate and are subject to "wear and tear" when worn on a regular
basis and are expected to appear less new over the course of 1 year. (2) Products that were damaged because the frame was twisted,
scratched, or bent (no matter what the cause). (3) Frames that suffer damage due to neglect or improper cleaning (including, but not
limited to, temple and nosepiece discoloration due to lack of regular hygienic frame cleaning). (4) Frames that suffer damage from
excessive heat (such as being left in the car which results in warpage of the frame shape and cracking and peeling of the paint and
surface coatings due to repeated thermal expansion).
MANUFACTURER'S LENS WARRANTY: All lenses carry the original manufacturer's 6 month warranty which covers
scratches, bubbling, or peeling of the lens surface or lens coatings from the time of purchase provided a scratch coating was purchased
and the lens defects are not due to neglect, improper cleaning, or heat damage (such as being left in a hot car). A scratch
coating does not imply scratch proof but is intended to minimize the defects a lens incurs through its normal wearing lifetime of 1-2
years. Lenses that do not have a scratch coating but incur surface defects and/or scratches are not eligible for the manufactured
covered warranty. Lenses with premium antireflective coatings may be eligible for an extended manufacturer's warranty.
